SMS Messaging Terms & Consent
Leak Inspector (“Leak Inspector,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers SMS text messaging services to customers and prospective customers to communicate important information about leak detection inspections, appointments, and services. By opting in to our SMS messaging program, you agree to these terms.
Consent and Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and expressly consenting — whether by checking a consent box on our website, verbally during a phone call, or by texting a keyword to our number — you agree to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from Leak Inspector at the mobile number you provided. Messages you may receive include:
- Appointment confirmations and scheduling reminders
- Technician dispatch and arrival notifications
- Inspection status updates and findings
- Requests for job photos, access details, or documentation
- Invoice, billing, and payment notifications
- Emergency leak response alerts
- Customer satisfaction surveys
- Promotional offers and seasonal service information (if separately opted in)
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the status of your inspection or service job and the communications you have requested. During an active job, you may receive multiple messages per week. Outside of active jobs, message frequency is typically no more than four (4) messages per month. Promotional messages, where separately opted in, are typically no more than two (2) per month.
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to any messages sent or received as part of this program. These charges are billed by your mobile carrier and are not charges from Leak Inspector. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and any applicable fees.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Leak Inspector at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the STOP message, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.
Please note that opting out of SMS messaging does not affect other communication channels. You may still receive phone calls, emails, or postal mail from Leak Inspector regarding your job or account.
